The solution

Our work with US Land & Ranches began with an in-depth audit that revealed several missed opportunities.

The existing setup relied mostly on Google Search, overlooking channels that could boost awareness, consideration, and retargeting. Campaigns lacked ad copy testing, targeted keywords were limited, and a significant portion of the budget was spent on generic real estate terms, among other smaller issues.

We put 9 key fixes in place, reconfigured tracking, and optimized for conversions to ensure quality data flowed back to Google’s algorithm.

With tracking set, we completely restructured the campaigns, focusing on thorough keyword research and negative keywords. Generic terms can quickly drain budgets without producing quality leads, so we combined our own list of over 1,000 negative keywords with client-specific terms. We also created ad copy tailored to align with landing pages, improving relevance and engagement.

Lead generation improved within the first month, but we kept pushing. Weekly optimizations, refined ad copy, keyword grouping, campaign segmentation, and improved ad assets (with an honorary mention of lead forms).

By month two, US Land & Ranches saw steady growth and chose to expand to 7 locations.
